At Temple Israel any worship services at Rosh Hashanah along the lines of May your gates be open always for folks of all ages?... for example less enfranchised folks, haven't funds for tickets/membership for whatever reason, alienated, disaffected Jews seeking a meaningful spiritual experience. Put welcoming words in practice in all quarters, all offices of the synagogue organization where the welcoming words are enunciated. As an experiment ask others to contact Temple Israel and find out sadly what the disappointing response has been like for such enquiries about Rosh Hashanah worship services. A new year. Time to modernize the programs for all our communities' constituencies.
